Case Studies

Brandy presented our office with complaints of frequent
head aches, neck, and low back pain of approximately 6 months duration. X-Ray examination revealed complete loss of
the normal healthy curvature of her neck. Her X-Ray also showed a mild reversal in the path the vertebrae would normally
take and is known as spinal buckling. This is related to a higher likelihood of neck pain, headaches (migraine or tension
type), low back pain, spinal arthritis, and poor healing following injury. After completing approximately 4 months of
structural restoration, Brandy shows remarkable improvement in the curvature of her neck. Her headaches, neck pain and
back pain have resolved, as well. Way to go Brandy!

A 26 year old rock musician presented to our office two
weeks after a motor vehicle accident. He complained of headaches, neck pain, and pain between the shoulder blades. Upon attempting
to play the drums, he immediately experienced sharp pain. He also struggled to work at a computer he used for recording and
editing. His presenting posture was of forward and flexed head and his initial x-ray showed a change in the normal shape of
his neck. He underwent structural rehabilitation to attempt to return his neck to its normal shape. Follow-up films after
treatment revealed remarkable change! He experienced full resolution of his headaches, neck pain, and shoulder pain and he
is back to enjoying pain free musical performances.
